Frequently Asked Questions

1. How many edited images to you provide?

There isn’t a fixed number but I do provide around 500 images, this can vary on the length of the day, lighting and the number of guests.

2. What is the turnaround to receive your photos?

I know you must be excited to see your photos after your special day. I will always ensure to edit 10-15 previews as soon as I can so that you’ve got something to share with friends and family. Typically, the final gallery of your photographs will be ready within 4 weeks but during the summer period this might be up to 6 weeks.

3. Is it possible to have the raw files?

Unfortunately, not this is pretty standard in the photography industry. The reason for not providing raw files is that you would need specialized software for editing which would be an expense. I spend a large amount of time editing your photos to ensure that I deliver the best quality.

4. Do you offer wedding albums?

I sure do, and they are handmade from traditional sewn binding to hot foil stamping, each fabric photo book is finished to perfection. The high-quality pages are 10” x 10” and come bound in a wide selection of colours. You can select your favourite photos from your wedding gallery and I will personally design a beautiful album for you and your family to cherish forever.

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely! If you are local I’d love to meet you. If not, we can chat via video call to get to know each other beforehand. If your wedding is destination I always encourage a meeting the day before your wedding.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, absolutely! You’re welcome to request specific poses or shots. Just let me know what you have in mind, and I’ll make sure to capture them for you.

7. Have you ever cancelled a booking?

Noooo! A wedding is a once in a lifetime event and I take it incredibly seriously. If for some reason I was so ill, or circumstances were so dire that I could not possibly photograph your wedding, I have a backup plan.

8. Can family and guests also take photos?

Yes, but during key moments (like the ceremony), we recommend an “unplugged” approach so guests can be fully present and leave the professional to capture those moments.

My Process

why it's so important

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, which is why having a clear process is so important. the process is what transforms wedding photography from simply showing up with a camera — into a refined, supportive, and memorable experience.

STEP 01

MEET

If you like what you have seen, enquiry through my website for pricing and availability. We can then either meet for a coffee or chat over video call to get to know each other and discuss your plans. I would love to hear about your ideas and what you have planned for your special day.

STEP 02

SAVE THE DATE

I’m so glad we connected! I’ll finalise your deposit payment and contract to secure your date. We can then organise an engagement shoot. This is a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and to connect on a more personal level face to face. By the end of it you will feel like pro’s in front of the camera and feel at ease when the wedding day arrives!

STEP 03

DETAILS

Let's get to the nitty gritty. From finalising your venue to choosing your florist, we'll keep in touch throughout your planning process. I'm always here to support you and help you with any recommendations too. I will also send over a wedding planning schedule for you, so you can let me know what your timings are for the day, any group photos. We will also catch up on another call to finalise your plans before your big day.

STEP 04

THE BIG DAY

The day has finally arrived were you get to marry your best friend! On the day you can expect me to be polite and discrete and to fit into the day like any one of your guests. So, you can focus on being fully present on the day. I will typically send you a few teaser photographs after your wedding within the first week. The final gallery will come on a later date but let me tell you it will be all worth the wait. This will be a password protected gallery fully edited high-resolution photos. For you to share with your friends and family, download and print. We can also design and create a beautiful album full of your photos so you can treasure this forever!
